Default NLTRN 100 - TP + OESD facing reraise

Villain has been a nutcase on flops that I have checked into him. His check on the flop makes me think he either has air or a monster. He check/called me earlier with 98 on a 987 flop. We ended up all in on a 3 turn and he sucked out against my JT. We haven't gotten into that many other big pots.

Full Tilt Poker Game #3704884754: $100 + $5 Heads Up Sit & Go (28244251), Table 1 - 20/40 - No Limit Hold'em - 9:26:15 ET - 2007/09/29

Seat 2: cmoijuju (1,970)

cmoijuju posts the small blind of 20
xSCWx posts the big blind of 40

xSCWx bets 240
cmoijuju raises to 480
xSCWx has 15 seconds left to act

The only thing I can imagine him playing like this "normally" is a set. He seems a little screwy so I guess it is possible that he slow played a jack or 2 pair but he would normally bet this. A weird line from AQ maybe?

Shove? Call? Fold?

Way above my level but the way you described him it surely seems like something like 2pr or a set, maybe AJ (would he slowplay AJ?), but with 1/3 of your stack invested and some outs (with the small chance that your ahead) I'd say "aw piss" and shove it in.

Stove!

Board: 3c 9d Th Js
Dead:

equity win tie pots won pots tied
Hand 0: 28.409% 28.41% 00.00% 4200 0.00 { QJs, QJo }
Hand 1: 71.591% 71.59% 00.00% 10584 0.00 { JJ-99, J9s+, T9s, J9o+, T9o }

Maybe that range is too narrow.

Interesting, adding AQ, and other middle pair OESD hands, the picture gets sightly better.

Nah, I figure that there is also a chance he has that AK or something as well. I can't see playing a big pair like this.

So, shove, I guess.

I found that hands like AQ or OESD were possible if he was mixing up his play but much much less likely than the 2pr+ type hands.

I ended up saying [censored] it and shoving, I'll wait a little to post results though.

Good play. I would shove and hate it also.
