[ QUOTE ]
If sillysal had been a successful HU player why use a bot?

[/ QUOTE ]

Many possible reasons. Maybe she got greedy and to get more hands in used the assistance of a bot. Maybe she had side projects she wanted pursue and maintaining a particular lifestyle would have required her to play too much. Again, pure speculation but there are many reasons.

[ QUOTE ]
The Op said they had been playing on Full Tilt for 2 years and is that they only used a bot recently???

[/ QUOTE ]

I don't think anyone but OP really knows what the timeline for any bot usage actually is/was.

[ QUOTE ]
What would be the need to take the risk if they were already successful?

[/ QUOTE ]

Again, could be greed, could be interest in other pursuits, could be a bunch of things. FWIW, OP definitely sounds very intelligent and for those persons poker can get boring pretty quickly. So what do you do if playing poker for however many hours a day just becomes plain boring but your other interest wouldn't provide you with nearly the same lifestyle as poker? Again, just wild speculation.

[ QUOTE ]
Or was it that it took Full Tilt 2 full years to catch OP?

[/ QUOTE ]

Lets just say before Crazy Mike first went public on his website with the original mid/high HU limit bots, FT probably had no interest in actively tracking down bots (or so I have heard).

Ok fair enough and thanks for responding, but how come you are now convinced he/she was using botting software?

For one, since I think SillySal = BeatMe1 = Tetrahedron, that in itself is pretty telling. Moreso, I think FT's bot detection methods are more sophisticated than I originally thought.

I've read every post in this thread and have the exact opposite impression. Care to elaborate?

Won't someone analyse tetrahedron's hand histories? (I don't have time.) If tetrahedron=sillysal, aren't they all the more interesting?

Only a couple people who've posted in this thread really have any idea what techniques FT has at their disposal to identify botters. They won't say anything specific for very obvious reasons.

when i opened this thread I didnt know it was 8 pages long. lol. I read thebeatme1 thread months ago even before people were making accusations of it being the same person I was thinking that. mike haven should check the i.p addresses.

Also i think it is pretty [censored] up to take someones money for stats being similiar to bots stats. they need to make it clear to people on these forums why there doing these things, other than "stats".

also gehrig and mike gatorade you both sound like douchebags

I think a lot of people agree with this judging by comments here and in other threads. Can I just ask why?

It is a serious question as I havn't searched (sorry). They just seem intent on exposing bots.

(BTW - sorry for my dumb cliff notes above - I was drunk. But now I'm sober)

I have checked the IP addresses of posts, and I cannot see any correlation. No doubt, other mods will have checked them too, and will correct me if I'm wrong.
