Re: Can I fold top pair if it\'s really low?
His 400 bet is very weak, as the original raiser, it doesn't really mean a lot, you have to define your hand, reraise to 1200-1500, and as long as mp goes away, get him all in from there if he stays in the hand...

Re: Can I fold top pair if it\'s really low?
I would raise the flop to knock out MP (fold to a reraise from MP). There's a small chance you're ahead (Ax), and if not you're getting roughly the right pot odds even if he shows you AA.
Board: 7d 3h 4s Dead: equity win tie pots won pots tied Hand 0: 36.111% 35.51% 00.61% 2109 36.00 { 7h6h } Hand 1: 63.889% 63.28% 00.61% 3759 36.00 { AA } |

Re: Can I fold top pair if it\'s really low?
I feel that it's highly unlikely that he has TT+ here. A raise is necessary at this point. If you're called, you're probably beat right now, but if you hit one of your outs on the turn or river, you can stack SB and maybe even double up if MP comes along for the ride.

Re: Can I fold top pair if it\'s really low?
call=fold>raise
unless you are willing to push this then: call=fold=push>raise personally, in the 45s, when i have a stack like yours I am looking to take out small stacks and prefer equal stacks to be sidelined PF or on my right. Yeah it's wimpy, but you need to preserve your stack for the SS push botting. What if you raise to 1500 and MP pushes? (which is what I would do with ATC dang near in MP's spot and stack) |
