Hadji Slayer - Why isn't TT likely. The dude is 13/7. I'd put good money he completes TT way more than he raises here from the SB with all those limps in front of him.

well for starters. there is a good chance he would raise to get those limpers out preflop. but i agree EASILY can just complete with 10s. But he wouldnt of played it that way. If he is going to sandbag and play the 10s slow why would he repop it on the flop? why not wait till the turn or river? reraising might as well tell everyone at the table that he has an 8. therefore only an 8 can call and scare away all the flush draws which he would want in.

i really think his only holdings would be the straight flush draw or 8(X)

I really don't think this kind of nit c/r 5 people, then 4 bets the flop with 87. At least not often enough to play for stacks.

I'm getting approx 2:1 to play for stacks. Do I think he has a weaker 8 more than 1 time in 3?

So we've got Bilbo and an adamant Hadji arguing for jamming (and I don't agree that "if you're beat, you're beat... play above the rim" is adequate rationale), and 3 so far supporting it as played.

Any more thoughts? If I have A8 and kicker problems are no longer there, does this become different? How about no kicker 82, easy fold no matter what?
