K always encourages his players to leave when he thinks it's the right thing to do.

[/ QUOTE ]

Would you agree that a kid should always leave when he's assured of being picked in the top five? Because K told Luol Deng he was making a huge mistake by leaving in 2004. And, IIRC, he told Elton Brand he wasn't ready in 1999.

The best Duke prospects haven't gone their for 4 years, but I'm pretty sure that's true everywhere else. There are hardly any great 4 year college guys in the NBA other than Tim Duncan and Steve Nash. I can't remember the last 4 year guy out of UNC who became an all-star. In the past, Duke had a LOT of 4 year guys, now that isn't the case. They've done really well lately in the NBA.

MVP Caliber:
Brand (2 years)

All-star
Boozer (3 years)

All-Star Caliber:
Deng (1 year)

V. Good Starter Caliber:
Maggette (I know he comes off the bench) (1 year)
Battier (4 years)
Hill (was MVP when fully healthy) (4 years)

Good Bench

Duhon (4 years)

Decent:

Dunleavy (3 years)
D. Jones (2 years Rut, 2 years Duke)
Shavlik (not sure but he's been better when healthy in the Pros then college)

Not sure of:
Ewing (4 I think)
Redick (4)
Sheldon (4)

This is better than UNC right now:

All-Star
Jamison 3 year
VC 3 year

Former All-Stars
Stack (3)
Sheed (3)

V Good Starter Caliber
Felton (needs to work on FG%) (3)
May (when healthy) (3)

Solid:

Brendan Haywood (4)

Getting Better but still underacheived:
Marvin (1)

Not sure about:

Noel (4)
McCants (3)

Football: Alabama bc sabans gonna bring us back to glory baby!!!!!!!!!!! Honestly, I'm torn between Florida/Texas. Both of these schools have hot women, huge national exposure and put guys in the nfl on O and D. I'd go Fla bc im an sec guy.

Basketball: Duke. I hate them but basketball is the #1 sport there, obv coach K, you'll get a ton of press and youre on national TV a helluva lot. And even if youre not that good you can still get to the nba bc of teammates (see daniel ewing).

Baseball: LSU. The school actually supports their baseball team. Gorgeous women. Did I mention beautiful women?

Hockey: lolz like i watch this [censored]. I hear BC is pretty good though.

No he didn't, he advised both Brand and Deng to go. He advised Maggette and Will Avery to stay.

K always followed the Dean Smith rule: advise your players to go pro if they'll be in the top 5, to stay otherwise.

Why the top 5 only?

What makes their girls hotter than any other university's?

[/ QUOTE ]

It's common knowledge that the female population at Arizona is significantly better than the average college.

On the flip side, try finding hot girls at University of Chicago. They don't exist.

Not sure, probably because being a top 5 pick is more of a 'sure thing' ? These days, probably makes more sense to go if you'll be a lottery pick.

football-SC and Texas

The hottest girl I've ever known went to Duke. She dated one of the basketball players.

Still on average they aren't playing on the same field as UNC. I went to an Ivy League school in the "country" and there were few and far between when it came to girls probally higher than a 7.
