$10 27 player -- misplayed monster draw?

Not sure if this should got to STT or here; 27 player $10 SnG.

I don't use any poker tools yet (SnG wizard, etc.)

BB hasn't played a hand yet on the final table; MP1 has suffered some big losses, one to a player holding 10 2 (guy rivered his gutshot) and to me, where he tried (and failed) a bluff on the river. I have his limp range as pretty wide but not maniacal. I check the flop to set up a CR, even though I am readless on BB but I'm almost certain MP1 is going to bet regardless of his hold cards. I also think I have the best hand at the moment, but even if I don't I have a gazillion outs:

Should I lead out?
If not, what should the CR be? (I'm working on bet sizing properly, and trying not to fold too much)

Look at the stack sizes. Typically, you want to put in the last raise here to add some FE to your draw. Bet out 300-400 and you'll probably have a perfect amount left to shove if he re-raises your bet. Lead out and watch the hand play itself...

Thanks for the feedback guys, I was unsure of the optimal way to play this hand (I check raised x3 and called his shove; even though I won the hand felt like I played it wrong.)

I don't like leading out here.

1) You can't be at all sure from the information given that villain will re-raise you (is he really doing that light?), but we think strongly he'll bet once with ATC.

2) We then get in a sticky situation if he calls, and we miss on the turn.

3) I don't think our 3-bet will give us much FE at all, if he's got A8 or something he's gonna feel committed. Plus a higher flush draw is then coming along too.

I check-raise here all day long, because I think we get more chips if he has nothing, plus we maximise our FE if he's got a little (but currently more than us).

If he bets small (say 300) I'm planning to raise to 1500. As he played, I push.

Why do you care if A8 calls your shove? With our stack depth; a c/r puts us in a worse spot, if our raise is just called. Then we lose 1/3 of our equity on a bricked turn and we are OOP with a tough decision. Check/check, and we could lose our action on a [img]/images/graemlins/club.gif[/img]turn

We shove ~4500. We have good FE, and we have the potential to trap more dead money. Even if we are only called by a set or a straight we still have ~40% equity when called.
If this was a raised pot PrF; I would feel different.
