Re: JJ 200nl
PF - I still like the 3-bet here -- it will define your hand much better against his range.
Flop - Why not raise his c-bet here? He will let you know if he has you beat right away (Qx, AQ, QQ, KK, AA, AKhearts) otherwise I think he is folding I like the turn bet. However, if he calls/raises, alarms are going off and you are all but done with this hand. I just think you could have defined your hand against his range much cheaper than the way you did it. Curious to see how it played out. |

Re: JJ 200nl
I always 3bet this, and TT a lot of the time too.
I dont mind your line, you're obviously folding to a raise. Although I dont know why you would do this rather then c/f and then if checked through bet a safe river or c/c a river bet (prob not a good idea readless) |

Re: JJ 200nl
I 3b this since we're oop, although sometimes I might just call in position with no reads.
I'm not sure if I like this on drawy boards since if he calls its hard to define his range. Hes probably calling with lots of draws and weak made hands, and raising his very strong hands as well as the occasional bluff. If he just calls, you're in a [censored] spot oop on the river in a pretty large pot, and if he raises he has you beat very often anyhow. |

OK he could have a FD but in general most people dont raise A9s and below UTG so his draws are probably just KJhh, AKhh, AJhh, AThh |

Re: JJ 200nl
What about like 45, 65, 45hh, 78hh, 79hh, 46hh. I figure most people at 200 will raise sc's utg and maybe suited 1 gappers.

Re: JJ 200nl
There is a reason this is a good line with sets.

Re: JJ 200nl
If villain calls the turn, river is an standard c/f, no? Not really that difficult of a spot. I don't think draws will bluff that often after you called and led turn, but if someone has extensive experience to the contrary, chime in.
Without reads, I think this is a good line. If we have a read that villain double barrels frequently or plays his draws aggressively on multiple streets, c/c is better. |

Re: JJ 200nl
If the draw misses they are probably firing the river since they have about zero percent chance to win the pot with king high or whatever and hero's line doesn't seem too strong if he checks the river.

Re: JJ 200nl
You need to play this more aggressively preflop. Define his range.
