I'm a pretty passionate and emotional dude, but I don't actually cry that much. I think I cried once this year and once last year.
Crying can be a healthy response; I think the issue here is that The Dude is apparently crying about things that shouldn't really have much of an emotional impact. Also, he needs better taste in movies.

crying hardly makes you less of a man, but given some of the reasons the dude posted, the crying is probably symptomatic of something else. even if he is particularly sensitive crying while watching elf/reading harry potter seems a bit off.
