deposits and withdrawls

how come most people use netteller or some other related company for deposits and withdrawls and don't use something like a debit card so the withdrawls can go right to your checking account and not have to worry about the middle company?

Most banks dont want anything to do with online gambling but will accept neteller transactions.

I like neteller as it keeps all my online poker transactions in one place. I can then just deposit or withdraw from neteller as necessary.

Most sites don't accept my debit cards (or vice versa). And the one that does refuses to let me withdraw with the same card they let me deposit with. How convenient ...

My credit card lets be deposit on poker sites, but I use Neteller to avoid as many currency conversions as possible.
