Re: What\'s your WtSD and W$SD?
[ QUOTE ]
[ QUOTE ] Even though so far I've got the highest composite, I'm not really running hot or cold, I don't think. Interesting. [/ QUOTE ] I've had really bad losing streaks with great numbers and really good winning streaks with poor numbers. Do you put much faith in the adage that WSD/WTSD reflect how well you're running? [/ QUOTE ] i don't think they do reflect much, especially over average sized samples. eventually they do, i believe, becuase the pots you're winning and losing at showdown eventually balance out. but over 10-20k hands, it normally boils down to how many times you've lost the monster pots. for example, in my last 10k at 3/6 im 35/55 and i am breakeven. |

Re: What\'s your WtSD and W$SD?
As I suspected, people's stats are pretty spread out, especially in Went to SD. This makes me think that these stats are far less important than I once believed, as people seem to be winning with a wider range of stats than I once thought.
About a year ago I was convinced that my Went to SD was about 5-6 points too low, and I spent a long time trying to increase it. Eventually I did, but my winrate actually decreased, so this may not have been a problem after all. |
