Default Anyone else have this problem with the new Party software?

So I woke up today and logged into Party, and noticed that my account balance seemed low. Then I noticed that there was $285 "In Play". At first I thought that someone hacked my account, but that wasn't the case as the numbers weren't changing. I could access all of the other funds, but not the $285.

After a while, I realized what must have happened. At the end of last night, one of the tables that I was at froze up and was "Closed for Maintenance". The money that I had at that table is still listed as "In play", nearly 12 hours later.

I just emailed them to see what the deal is, hopefully it won't be a problem putting that money back into my account...but it's still annoying as hell.

Clear your cache and temp files. Party says that solves most all the problems.

Depends on your browser, but look for internet options on IE or under tools (options) in firefox.

Clearing the temp files didn't work. Below is the response I received from Party, supposedly they are working on it.

Has this happened to anyone else?

Why would you suggest to someone to clear out their cache / temp files if their Party software is having problems.

"My car door is jammed."

"Get a plunger and pump your toilet."

Here is how you fix it:

With reference to your query, we suggest you to follow the below steps:

1. Uninstall the software.
2. Disk Clean Up.
3. Restart your system and then reinstall the software.

To uninstall the software:

1. Click 'Start', point to 'Settings', click
on 'Control Panel', and then double-click on the
'Add/Remove Programs'.
2. Select 'PARTYGAMING', and click on 'Change/Remove' to
remove our software from your system.
3. From your desktop delete the 'PARTYGAMING' icon.
4. Open 'My Computer' and browse to "c:\". Once there
delete "C:\PARTYGAMING" folder (unless you renamed it
something different when you installed it the last
time).
5. Still in 'My Computer', open "c:\program files"
where you will see another folder called 'PARTYGAMING',
delete this also.

Follow the steps below to do Disk Cleanup.

1) Close all the programs
2) Click on Start
3) Click on Programs
4) Click on Accessories
5) Select System Tools
6) Click on Disk Cleanup

Once the Disk cleanup starts, check all the check boxes shown and click on the "Start" button.

To reinstall the software

1. Go to our website, click on "Click here to download and play now" to download the software.
2. Save the setup file to the desktop.
3. Double-click on the saved setup file to start the installation procedure.
4. Change the default installation directory from "C:\Program Files\PARTYGAMING" to "C:\PARTYGAMING".

Once you have reinstalled the software you will need to add the Player Notes:

1) Close all Windows.
2) Right click on the 'PARTYGAMING' icon on the desktop.
3) Click on 'Properties'
4) Click on the 'Find Target' button
5) Right click on the 'Notes' file and click
on 'Copy'. Close all the windows.
6) Right Click on the Desktop and click on 'Paste'
7) Once 'PARTYGAMING' is reinstalled, restore this file
in the 'PARTYGAMING' folder.

Thank you for choosing us as your online gaming site!

Clearing cache and temp internet files is what Party always tells everyone.

Didn't you know?

And Party doesn't know what it's talking about 90% of the time, didn't you know?

When you state the obvious, there is no need for a question mark.
