as a business, this isn't AP. they'd lose their clientèle if they did this.

[/ QUOTE ]

You don't know that they would lose business only if you find out about it.

[/ QUOTE ]

yeah, because risking your entire business for about a very small increase in cash (relatively speaking) is a good idea.

DDY, you are an idiot here

Holy Jaysus!!

Questions:

Is AP a profitable online room? Have they recently run into financial difficulties? Are any of the key shareholders or members of upper management suspected of having serious debts? Are any of the people behind the site suspected of having severe personal vendettas against particular high level regulars on the site?

I think it should be clear what point I am trying to make.

[/ QUOTE ]
Dude, seriously how is anyone going to know the answers to any of these questions

[/ QUOTE ]

I know. I was just trying to make the point that IF absolute was directly involved to any extent - there would have to be some sort of reason behind them doing this.

[/ QUOTE ]

Also pretty sure that as dumb as AP might be, they're not stupid enough to make it this obvious. If it was their doing, they could've at the very least changed the offending account's name each session. Or even better, they could just produce a bunch of suckouts for their house accounts. I can think of a dozen ways they could steal just as much money without ever arousing suspicion and I'm sure someone there could too. Again, this isn't AP's doing.

someone mentioned GGuouyd, i'm fairly certain he is not one of them, he's lost quite a bit.
I found my stats on doubledrag- 193 hands played at 15/30nl.
vpip-93.78% amount won-$54,305.50 BB/100 hands-468.96. went to SD-22.07% W$SD-50% PFR-72.02% PF AF-2.22 flop AF-4.48 turn AF-7.44 river AF 41.0.
sorry idk how to take a screenshot from PT.

[/ QUOTE ]
How is this not getting more attention!? For [censored] sake, these stats are IMPOSSIBLE. Who the [censored] wins 20 buy ins in <200 hands? Not to mention it looks like he's playing a style which has no possibility of being a longterm winner unless he were cheating. If all this evidence wasnt already enough, this just convinced me that hes prob cheating some way somehow.

yup, and that's how you break one of these things down.

list possibilities, assign a probability to each and investigate the most likely scenarios first.

lol at "who would know the answers to these questions". That isn't the point.

i never understood the argument of "Poker Site won't do X because it will harm them if people found out"

as someone who has worked for 7 years in organizations, i can assure you that organizations do all kind of stuff that would harm them tremendously if anyone found out

no, you're extremely naive and you have no idea what you're talking about. You don't know what happened for sure or why but yet you feel comfortable dismissing possibilities out of hand based on your assumptions.

that's the only thing idiotic here.

I am sending a link to this thread to the AP. Hopefully they write a story about it. Gambling is always a hot topic.

"The Risks of Online Poker"

Site bilks millions from players through illicit means"
