Gift Ideas for Mom?

My Dad is easy to buy for.... he always is asking for this and that. Mom, on the other hand, puts me on gift buying tilt. She never gives any clues on what she would like to have. So here I am again racking my brain for some Christmas presents to get her. I ask her what she wants and the response: "I don't know"

She likes to read and I got her a Danielle Steel book. That's pretty much the extent of it though. I need to get her some stuff and I'm just a horrible gift giver. Any ideas?

Some hobbies:

She likes to cook, but has about every cook book/utensil/appliance on earth

She likes to play the video lottery machines, but I can't think of anything gift related (outside of cash) that would help in that department.
