Default 200$PLO: I always [censored] up with AA

Villain is a regular, but we have no interesting history. He seems okay.

In retrospect, I think I should have potted the flop, but what do I do if he comes over the top then?

I hope you are 3betting with more than just aces from sb. I would bet the flop if I bet at all because I doubt opponent has KKxx, and hero has 2nd nfd.

I'd probably just call preflop. Like chucky said I don't like this raise from the sb if you have a really tight re raising range from that position.
On the flop checkings fine aslong as you plan on check raising. Since you missed that i'm curious to see how others here would play the turn. Seems likea tricky spot.

Lets say that we are raised by villian on the flop. When villian has KKxx hero has 11 outs. To be on the conservative side lets say villian has kk 50% of the time villian raises. Well what hands raise us the other 50%? kqjt or qjt8 with q or j high fd type hands. You have 71% equity against these hands. Even against k8xx you have 45% equity. The answer to a reraise is shove.
