Default Top pair, flush draw on board

I need some info. on the best way on playing this hand. Let's say, I have AQo and raise -four times the big blind - on the button, MP calls. The board reads, Q 8 2, two clubs on the board.

I normally bet about half the pot. I play it cautious, just in case another clubs comes. If the player smooth calls and the turn is a safe card, then I make a large bet.

Sorry I couldn't be detailed. Any suggestions? Thanks!

Making a half pot bet here gives the flush draw the odds it needs to call. Probably bet it a little harder on the flop, maybe 2/3 or 3/4 pot.
