I have a few minor vents, and a minor brag...

Vents

1) So yesterday Buzz and I met up with hopes of playing a drunken 2/4 game at one of those indian casinos. I show up a little early, and as I'm walking towards the poker room, I notice that the bar has been shut down for some unknown reason...wtf no booze

2) Recently, the casino started doing an hourly High-Hand jackpot, where the winner gets $100. In my first orbit, I get Kings full of Queens, or Queens full of Kings...doesnt really matter...About 30 minutes later, some monkey makes quad 3's with K3o...no money. So I switch over to Buzz's table where I eventually hit runner runner Kings full of Jacks, and tie for hand of the hour...A few minutes later, the floor lady/thing announces to the dealers that this would be the last hand of the hour to win the jackpot...Naturally, some trashy, middle-aged woman rivers Kings full of Queens...bye bye $100

3) I cant remember the other one...

Timely new thread. Today I:

Flopped quad 8s and lost to turned quad Qs (both 2-card quads for those playing along at home). Not the most improbable thing that's happened to me by a longshot, but still pretty funny.

My next playable hand on the same table AA loses to AK who caught running Ks.

5 minutes later (different table this time) my 2-card A-high flush lost to a 2-card straight flush in a 22 BB pot.

On the upside, I did get a good laugh out of it all.

Loose game. One guy in particular will take anything to the river, and I mean anything.

I have pocket 7s. Nutter has raised preflop after I limped, and I've called his back. Couple of others go to the flop.

Flop is 346. I praise the Lord.
Turn is 5. I praise the Lord and Allah.
River is a 7. I become an atheist.
