Default a couple CAZ hands

so i just got into town two nights ago
and yesterday i had my first session at CAZ

8/16 pretty standard loose passive game
no hands were too memorable besides these two

villian unknown
40ish something white guy
but as he is sitting down
he gives off this air of confidence
or arrogance whatever you want to call it

you dont have to post when you first sit down in these games
so it gets folded to villian and he raises, everyone else folds

i look down at 99 (w/ 9c) in the bb (3bet or call?)
i decide to just call and let him keep the initiative
anticipating he'll cb the majority of flops

HERO calls

flop Jc 8c 6c
villian bets
HERO calls

turn 4
villian bets
HERO raises

plan for the rest of the hand?

next hand different villian
UTG + 1 limps, HERO raises AJ (w/ Jd) mpish, CO ccs, sb calls, bb calls

flop Ad 4d 7d
checked to HERO
HERO bets
CO folds, sb calls, utg + 1 calls

turn Q (no d)
sb donks
utg + calls
HERO calls (?)

river J
sb donks
utg calls
HERO (?)

easy raise/fold? easy call?

Hand 1: I normally 3 bet pre-flop but calling isn;t that bad. I c/r that flop all day long.

Hand 2: I'm not sure about the turn. I don;t like calling but I wouldn;t know hat else to do. I think you have to overcall the river as played.

hand 3: Should be against Howard Beale. its fun to try to take his money.

Hand 1: I like 3-betting preflop, but calling is fine. If you do call though, you must c/r that flop. You have to claim the initiative now. It will make the rest of the hand much easier to play. As played, I'd be reluctant to put any more money in the pot if he hangs around to your turn raise.

Hand 2: Heads up, I'd like a free showdown raise here barring a diamond on river that gets checked to you. Since there's another villain to act, I think that's too risky. It's really an annoying spot. The river is also annoying, as you have a pretty easy fold unimproved IMO. I think you're forced to overcall, but I wouldn't like it. Raising would be awful.
