Default Million Hand please critic

Alright, well I have been pretty tight at the table and been showing down good hands. The villian in this hand raises 3xBB with good hands and 4xBB with marginal/bad hands. My r/r was to make it so that if he called there was exactly a PSB left and I was going to shove the flop if he called. I was a little shocked that he called, but I put his range at AJ, KQ, KJ, low-med PP. When he called I figured that I might as well take a free card to hit my flush and if I hit it I will be able to double up and if not I can shove the turn. I pick up even more outs and decide to check again. Did I just play this hand to weak after such a strong PF play

if you check flop bet turn but it's just better to bet flop.

Also not a big fan of 3betting light vs 4x opens.

I don't know what folds here that calls your flop raise.

Got to push the flop with your flush draw. As played, push the turn.

I don't like this size reraise with this hand in position.

If you are going to reraise, I would reraise enough to pot commit yourself or push. Flat calling with position or folding are also OK.

I would have just shoved flop, but I don't hate the flop check, since good aces are checking to you like every time. Also I like mixing up betting the flop and betting the turn with 8-9 out draws, especially on a board like this where he's way more likely to be giving up if he checks turn vs flop.

Very very easy turn shove b/c of the extra outs plus he's much less likely to have an ace now than when he checked the flop, and he's still not calling a shove without an ace. (Or less than shove and call if you think he'll fold more often, although I don't think it matters, either he has an ace or he doesn't.)

River bet I hate because you aren't threatening his stack; a 20k pure bluff on the turn is beautiful in this spot because you threaten his whole 55k for a ridiculously cheap price, this is one of the cool things about lategame mtt play with these stack sizes. I like your line for value with KK, QQ, maybe too thin w/ jacks, where you're better off turning it into a bluff/make KQ fold bet earlier when he'll respect the ace, but given your description of his range you'd probably have a value bet all the way down to any T. He's calling with any pair, especially after the ace pairs, so it's just about which pairs are in his range.

If he folded he had KQ/KJ

I am not a fan of 3betting 4x light. I just muck preflop...

As played, 2/3 pot the flop and get it in. Maximize FE, etc. Hes probably folding the flop a ton, and when hes not, hit your flush

A little math tangent; the 8 on board is actually meaningful for your flop equity:

for example,

pokenum -h ah qd - 9s 7s -- as 8c 4s
Holdem Hi: 990 enumerated boards containing As 4s 8c
cards win %win lose %lose tie %tie EV
Qd Ah 596 60.20 394 39.80 0 0.00 0.602
9s 7s 394 39.80 596 60.20 0 0.00 0.398

pokenum -h ah qd - 9s 7s -- as kc 4s
Holdem Hi: 990 enumerated boards containing As 4s Kc
cards win %win lose %lose tie %tie EV
Qd Ah 623 62.93 367 37.07 0 0.00 0.629
9s 7s 367 37.07 623 62.93 0 0.00 0.371

3% is a lot in this situation

So here is the question. I feel that the only hands that he is calling with is AJ/AT. Now should I be shoving this flop since there are only 2 hands that I think he realistically has to call me having a PSB left

also, lets say i bet 20k on the turn (would this be a bad bet?) and he calls. is river an obv check?

You have [censored] nine high and you reraised a 4x open, you better make some sort of aggressive move at the pot ffs now that he actually called and YOU IMPROVED.

why did you abandon your plan to shove flop when you actually got a good flop? checking flop sucks imo
