She doesn't want to take the time off work (she's so resposible), which is a bummer, but I just make the call into her work for her and tell them she's all sick and stuff, and we're off. Its like a 4 day trip and she has like 2 suitcases and 2 carryons. I have no idea what she needs all the crap for, especially since we're going to and island and all. Beaches, gambling, and fun. But she needs her entire wardrobe. Whatever. So United takes us to London and then British Airwas takes us out to the Isle of Man on this little loud and slow plane. Yuck. But at least the food on BA was awesome! I give it 7/9 for plane food (no planefood could ever get a 10, duh). So we get off the plane and its like [censored] freezing out! Did you people know that its [censored] cold here? GF is gunna be pissed. Looks like I'm not getting none tonight. So I get the silent treatment all the way to the hotel, which turn out to be someone's house! I mean, WTF! I'm in serious trouble now. But the room is freaking great, and the GF says she thinks it has character, so bonus. Maybe there's hope for tonight afterall! And there's a free breakfast in the morning so w00t! Any way, I don't even bother to unpack 'cuz I want my pokerstars money. I drop the GF like $200 and tell her to go shopping until I get back and then we can find the casinos and go to dinner and stuff. I bail and start looking for a cab and it takes like 20 minutes for one to come by and its not even yellow. Gah, how the hell are we supposed to know which ones are the cabs if they're not yellow? Anyway, dude tells me its going to be like 80 pounds to get to the pokerstars home office because its like so far away (Ramsey???). Whatever. I have like $20k coming to me from Pokerstars so I whip out a fifty which should cover it plenty and give it to him. The guy won't take it. [censored] damn [censored]. Anyway, I make the guy take me to a bank that was full of ripoffartists and scammers becuase they gave me like half as many pounds as I gave them dollars, but there was nothing I could do. They kinda had me by the balls 'cuz the cabbie wanted pounds. I was in a bad mood now. So, like an hour later, we arrive at this little office building thing a couple towns over. I go in and tell the guys at the desk I'm here for my money and all he can do is look at me funny. I ask is this Pokerstars, and he still looks at me funny. I'm getting frustreated, but he finally gets a look of recognition and looks at a piece of paper on his desk and tells me Suite 203. That must be where the payments department is where they cut the checks. Dude points me toward the elvater and I snake through the halls and FINALLY I see the Pokerstars logo on the wall and I'm happy again knowing I'm getting paid! So I go in and its just this little tiny room with a guy at a desk. WTF? I ask him if this is where I get my money and he's like WTF? And we're just standing there like W T F!!!!! I gotta go to dinner. When I get back I'll type up the second part.

Your bank sucks? I cashed out via check Thursday on Stars. The check was at my door Monday morning. I took it to my bank and deposited. The lady was very nice, no funny looks, took about 30 seconds, she gave me my receipt, and I went on my way. Got up Tuesday morning and checked my account online. The money was already there and listed as available balance. No hold, no problems depositing, no nothing.
