Default well that was a great river 80/160

4 handed live game, sb is very loose preflop, too aggressive with high hands on low boards and not aggressive enough with low hands and draws. bb is yosh nakano who I am told is very good at poker.

co folds, I raise button with A[img]/images/graemlins/diamond.gif[/img]4[img]/images/graemlins/diamond.gif[/img]8[img]/images/graemlins/diamond.gif[/img]K[img]/images/graemlins/club.gif[/img], sb and bb call.

Flop 6[img]/images/graemlins/diamond.gif[/img]2[img]/images/graemlins/diamond.gif[/img]K[img]/images/graemlins/spade.gif[/img]
sb bets, bb raises, I 3bet. I forget what happened after this unfortunately but I know that someone capped it so I call the 4th bet.

Turn: 8[img]/images/graemlins/spade.gif[/img]
check to me I bet, both call

River: 4[img]/images/graemlins/heart.gif[/img]
sb bets, bb sighs and calls, I do what?

[/ QUOTE ]HowMany - Tough decision. (Looks like you might be up against 53XY).

I'd bite the bullet and call. Perhaps you're up against two A3XY hands. I'd take a chance on no 53XY and no set. 75XY seems unlikely (but not impossible). It doesn't look good, but you're getting about 6.5 to 1 (half pot) to call, and you do have top two pairs. I think it's worth a call. You just have to win one time in seven for a call to be the +e.v. play.

A raise is out of the question, since your two pairs would have to win high twice as often as they lose to justify a raise. (I don't think a live ace for low is very good here).

I call but I don't like it. He has 53 here a lot, but you will get half enough the time here to make this alright. A possible hand for the SB to lead here would be A34K or something similar who figured his high hand might be good now that the flush missed.

Where was this game? Was it a mix?

I'm guessing since it's Yosh Nakano and he works for the Bicycle Casino as its host, it's at the Bike.

capt obvious would point out A35 got there.

let's say BB doesn't have a straight based on his body language, but i have him on a set.

so SB either is value betting naked nut low or has the two way.

live ace and top two, getting 14:1. i'm pretty sure you're not getting the low here so let's say the price for high is 7:1. approx 12.5% it has to be good here.

well, is that good enough for ya? i'd prob call out of curiosity since i think the payoff is reasonable and i'm not completely convinced BB has a set for the price

By the way it was played, I would guess that SB has A35. Why would he cold call on the turn and then raise in the river?
