Default pokerace vs. gametime+

Hey guys. I'm a fairly low limit player (only playing around 25nl or 50nl for now). I was just wondering if pokerace is worth the money, or if gametime+ is pretty close in comparison. The reason im wondering is because I just bought pokertracker, and don't really want to spend the money on pokerace unless it's really that much better than gametime+....yes I no im cheap. Thank you in advance for any help!!

Both will put the basic stats on the screen for you, but PAHUD can be customized a lot more ie. more stat types, colour-coding, customizable pop-up stats.

Sorry my answer kinda sucked, I found you a thread that shows what PAHUD is capable of:

Show your HUD

it is mentioned in that thread but i gotta say that seeing mucked hands at SD in pokerace hud is alone worth >> $25. When multitabling it really sucks to ahve to go into HHs to get that info and when doing so you probably miss out on other reads.

if you just got pokertracker you do need to try and understand the tool and teh stats it gives so if i were you I'd stick with GT+ for now....youll probably get sick of the inflexibilty of GT+ after a while and end up with pokerace anyway.

now, dont think im bagging GT+. For a free tool it is pretty good but with pokerace you do get value for your money.

There is another free hud, Realtime HUD. It's made by one of the 2+2 members, mikechops (post on 2+2). As a free alternative it's definitely worth looking into it - some even prefer it over Acehud.
Poker Tracker 3 and new acehud are coming out by the end of the year, so maybe you want to wait with buying that to avoid additional cost.

Why don't you try pahud before you buy? They do offer a trial version in case you didn't want to part with your hard earned monies straight away.

GT+ is free and easier to set up and will work with sites and table settings that PAHUD won't (e.g. mini table views at iPoker) but PAHUD has more stats available and is a more sophisticated product.
I use GT+ at the moment but PAHUD is certainly worth the money (I got it for free though I donated $$ to Josh when he was developing it)

'And PokerTracker is not required if you're really looking to save money.'

Pokeroffice, HoldemManager or PT are required for any ring game player over the 5c/10c games IMHO
