Default 3/6: DEEP, I\'m scared, luckily my hand keeps improving

Villain is lanausee on PartyPoker.

He seems to be running about 21/24 over 100 hands with an ATS of 43.

We've clashed a bit: One hand, he called my 3bet and flop cbet, he folded on the river. Another hand, he raised my cbet, I 3bet and he folded.

How have I done so far and what's my river play?

Don`t like the pf rr with TJo , but as you have him now I would make it $999 to match his $99 . c/shove may work against very aggro players

I think I like a check in this spot. He'll probably be v-betting lighter than he's calling, since a lead from you right here would look ridiculously strong. If you lead I think he can get away from anything that's not AJ or stronger, but he might feel weak checking behind QJ or whatever in a spot where it looks like you may be trying to showdown QQ-AA.

21/24 is sick mmm.

Kinda sucks but I don't see how he can call with an overpair if you open shove for a bi here. I guess you check.

Not reaaally keen on flop/turn but ok.

yeah i think the rr pf is very bad
but once we get to the river...i think a crai is fine, since if you all of a sudden spring to life and lead the river it looks pretty strong imo

I'm not always going to 3 betting JTo but his ATS is 43% so he should fold a large percentage of the time. And JT is reasonably playable.

Reading replies I agree I probably should check river.

Should I of folded turn? Played flop, turn differently?

I agree with the previous posters that suddenly leading the river with a decent sized bet will look very suspicious. You might as well reveal a J.
An alternative is maybe a fake blocking bet that in the very least will deny him a free showdown. It might also induce a bluff raise.

I prefer leading the flop which will give you some idea of where you stand in the hand. What was your plan for the turn if you do not improve?

I dunno if many people will bluff raise 200BBs deep.

I guess I expected that I would be bluff raised often if I led and I would have to fold. I don't think he calls with many worse hands. So effectively I lose all value from my hand if he either raises or folds.

I dunno, it'd of been close for me as to whether I'd c/call or c/fold on T if I didn't improve. Depending on my gut instinct at the time. Probably c/fold I guess. Though I do like hero calls.

Also, after calling the turn I expected to have a very tough decision on the river if I didn't improve and he pushed. I'd probably of folded.

There's value in winning this reraised pot, in not giving free cards and in not being tricked into folding the best hand.
