Default poker tracker software

I wonder if someone could offer their opinions:
I am playing 6 seater table Pot-Limit Omaha High
I have just started to use Poker Tracker Omaha
Obviously the default values for the different ratings of a player's style are based on a full ring game of 10 players
Could I get advice as to how to customise poker tracker to rate players for a Six seater table with a minimum of 5 players seated?
In his book Rolf Slotboom rates players (for a 10 seater table) as follows:
Loose = VPIP greater or equal to 33%
Tight = VPIP less or equal to 18%
Aggressive = PFR greater or equal to 9%
Maniacs = PFR Greater or equal to 20%
Passive = PFR less or equal to 3%

Poker Tracker's own default values are as follows:

Loose-Passive/Passive (LPP)
Vol. Put Money In Pot % is greater than or equal to 30.00
Pre-flop Raise % is less than 5.00
Aggression Factor - Total is less than 2.00
Loose-Passive/Aggressive (LPA)
Vol. Put Money In Pot % is greater than or equal to 30.00
Pre-flop Raise % is less than 5.00
Aggression Factor - Total is greater than or equal to 2.00
Semi-Loose-Passive/Passive (SLPP)
Vol. Put Money In Pot % is between 20.00 and 29.99
Pre-flop Raise % is less than 5.00
Aggression Factor - Total is less than 2.00
Semi-Loose-Passive/Aggressive (SLPA)
Vol. Put Money In Pot % is between 20.00 and 29.99
Pre-flop Raise % is less than 5.00
Aggression Factor - Total is greater than or equal to 2.00
Loose-Aggressive/Passive (LAP)
Vol. Put Money In Pot % is greater than or equal to 30.00
Pre-flop Raise % is greater than or equal to 5.00
Aggression Factor - Total is less than 2.00
Loose-Aggressive/Aggressive (LAA)
Vol. Put Money In Pot % is greater than or equal to 30.00
Pre-flop Raise % is greater than or equal to 5.00
Aggression Factor - Total is greater than or equal to 2.00
Semi-Loose-Aggressive/Passive (SLAP)
Vol. Put Money In Pot % is between 20.00 and 30.00
Pre-flop Raise % is greater than or equal to 5.00
Aggression Factor - Total is less than 2.00
Semi-Loose-Aggressive/Aggressive (SLAA)
Vol. Put Money In Pot % is between 20.00 and 30.00
Pre-flop Raise % is greater than or equal to 5.00
Aggression Factor - Total is greater than or equal to 2.00
Tight-Passive/Passive (TPP)
Vol. Put Money In Pot % is less than 20.00
Pre-flop Raise % is less than 5.00
Aggression Factor - Total is less than 2.00
Tight-Passive/Aggressive (TPA)
Vol. Put Money In Pot % is less than 20.00
Pre-flop Raise % is less than 5.00
Aggression Factor - Total is greater than or equal to 2.00
Tight-Aggressive/Passive (TAP)
Vol. Put Money In Pot % is less than 20.00
Pre-flop Raise % is greater than or equal to 5.00
Aggression Factor - Total is less than or equal to 2.00
Tight-Aggressive (TA)
Vol. Put Money In Pot % is less than 20.00
Pre-flop Raise % is greater than or equal to 5.00
Aggression Factor - Total is between 2.00 and 3.00
Tight-Aggressive/Aggressive (TAA)
Vol. Put Money In Pot % is less than 20.00
Pre-flop Raise % is greater than or equal to 5.00
Aggression Factor - Total is greater than or equal to 3.00
Any help would be greatly appreciated!
Cheers!
Steve

this has been discussed at length, and the basic concensus is that autorate rules don't make sense in omaha, because it is essentially not a preflop game. Four of the winningest players in my current favourite game are 41/21/4, 44/17/3, 55/9/2, and 30/15/3.

I suggest not really worrying about autorate, and instead paying attention to how players play hands, and rate them manually accordingly.

Everything cmry said plus:

1. It's probably more useful to look at the positional stats of a player than the raw numbers you (the OP) talk about.

2. I think PT is a great tool to analyze your own play and results. Perhaps longterm if you are playing against the same opponent over several 1,000 hands, it might be useful for realtime play.

Just learning PLO myself but it seems as if PFR and agression numbers are more important that VP$IP. WTSD and W$@SD are also interesting but take at least 1k hands to come close to being accurate.

I like autorating in HE, but I did not take the time to make good rules in PLO. But

1) I would cleary emphasize the post flop agression more than the preflop stats.

2) I would only rate players with more than 200 hands.

3) I would use rating to find extreme players : I do not care if someone's postflop agression on a small sample is 1.9 or 2.1. Treating a 2.1 like a 5 can lead to major mistakes. The problem is that if you are not totally unobservant, you do not need a software to tell you that a player is overly agressive, or plays every single hand.

But I agree that the most important feature of PT in PLO is to review you own play.
