Jesus, do you people not realize that a 29 yard field goal is easier for an NFL kicker than a 24 yarder when you're kicking it from the hash? The angle's the only thing that can make it remotely missable and the angle's easier from further out.

Let's give Vinatieri the EXACT same kick, only from 24 instead of 29. FG good, Colts up and Rivers is forced to throw the ball.

[/ QUOTE ]

wtf are you talking about? Those 5 yards make no difference. It was just a fluke miss.

well all i know is that i actually have an argument and there are some facts behind that argument.

Manning is mediocre without great offensive weapons. it's a fact.

Show me a great performance by him, without great offensive players.

All you do is say "ban"... "troll"... or some other crap.

if it's so ridiculous, why can't you just prove me wrong?

You can't.

[ QUOTE ]

Vinatieri makes 24 yarder x times out of 100
Vinatier makes 29 yarder y times out of 100

[/ QUOTE ]

x > y

Not much greater. That miss is a fluke and is even more unlikely from 24.

That precise ball flight is good from 24.

[/ QUOTE ]

There is a 0% chance he kicks the exact same kick from 24 though, so thats kind of a stupid argument.

Edge and PLO8 are officially tied for the worst poster in the forum.

I love that I can get your little panties all in a bunch when I've pretty much been right on a lot of what I've posted. I just have this ability to make otherwise logical people like yourselves completely go insane.

I like to note that I think the thread for each set of game times worked 100x better than the 1 thread.

You keep making excuses like the Colts "deserved" that win or some [censored] like that. They lost, whatever.

I don't even think half of those INTs are Manning's fault, but [censored] happens. And how many times has Manning NOT gotten picked off when he should have? Variance rolls both ways, nukka.

The Chargers suck, and they got saved by a complete judgment call penalty that moved the kick back 5 yards.

[/ QUOTE ]

If they don't get that penalty what happens there?

[/ QUOTE ]

Well, let's just say for the sake of argument, the Colts call the timeout that they were going to if SD didn't jump.

Let's give Vinatieri the EXACT same kick, only from 24 instead of 29. FG good, Colts up and Rivers is forced to throw the ball. LOL, the Chargers got shut out for basically the ENTIRE GAME on offense. I kinda like our chances.

[/ QUOTE ]

You may kinda like your chances but your hailed QB just had the worst game of his life, and you want to blame it on 1 disputable call?

snap out of it

[/ QUOTE ]

He's right, if not for that call, the COlts probably win.

[/ QUOTE ]

Nobody is arguing with that. The point here is that with that call the Colts probably win in that spot. It took away pretty much nothing from the Colts win percentage.

Hell there is a fair chance the Colts take the penalty there to save the timeout in case of a miss.
