LOL... Kinda like @ Denver?

I'm wondering if Pitt is gonna be a BSP two weeks after they were a BSP that got killed ATS. I'm on if this one crosses into double digits...maybe small ML play too.

I'm considering a donk teaser of Baltimore +16/u42 for a unit, just because it will motivate me to actually watch this game. I hate the ravens but they always play Pitt well. I'd go the other way and have Pitt -3 but only have monies on Bodog so can't line shop, and don't like Pitt -4.

Ravens +10 is the 4th leg of a 4-teamer paying 10-1

Under 36.5 is the 5th leg of a 5-teamer paying about 20-1.

Gogogo Ravens Defense!

I am down on Ravens +16/under 43 teaser for a substantial amount. Apparently a 70% chance of rain in Pittsburgh tonight should mean both teams try to keep it on the ground. Pittsburgh has to be wary of the Ravens after the two blowouts from last year. However, both Ravens starting CB's are out, which could spell trouble on the deep ball. I just think getting 16 points, with these two defenses, is way too good to pass up. I could see a 14-10, 17-14, or 21-10 game. Either way, both the under and the +16 would cover. If the Ravens keep Parker under 100 yards, I think they keep it within a TD.

Curious as to what others think about this game.

I know you're not supposed to tease the points and the under, but how does everyone like this teaser?

Baltimore Ravens +10/+16
Ravens/Steelers Under 36.5/42.5

Thoughts?

I obviously like it because that is what I am down on as well, especially with the weather looking like it might not necessarily be conducive to the long ball.

Here are some trends I'm sure you've already looked at and taken into consideration.

Baltimore: 4-3 SU, 1-6 ATS
Pittsburgh: 5-2 SU, 5-2 ATS

Baltimore:
Average points scored = 17.71
Average points against = 17

Pittsburgh
Average points scored = 26.29
Average points against = 13

Pittsburgh's points scored is pretty high -- 26.29. However, we have to look to their schedule to see the defenses they've played. CLE, BUF (not bad), SF, AZ, SEA, DEN, CIN. None of those are up to the same level as BAL defense, I think everyone can agree. Should be the first real challenge for Big Ben and the Pittsburgh O-Line. All of the other stats tend to support going UNDER here, especially on a teaser and with the weather.

I am doing pitt -2.5 and over 29.5

I want to protect against a Pitt rout which I think is the most likely scenario, followed by small Pitt win, and then a close Ravens upset. With Ravens D banged up I think Big Ben can pass all day long.

However, I have reduced my bet to just 1u as I see no clear edge anymore. I wish I bet the line when it was -8.

A couple of things to throw out there

Steelers might be fired up more then normal because they are bringing back the all time great steelers for that 75th anniversary team.

Also Todd Heap is out which imho really hurts the ravens short pssing game in the rain

Still up in the air on which way im going
