Man Jay Cutler looked a lot like Brett Favre on that bullet he threw to the back up TE.

All you hear in Denver is how QB01 will compare to John Elway.. now I have to hear about Favre comparisons non stop too. Maddening. Let the kid play and be Jay Cutler.

[/ QUOTE ]

A bit of an overreaction there.

In what regard? Favre comparisons have been going on for a year. This is not in response to tonight alone.

(also wasn't responding to you at all, figured you were mocking the announcers. If you weren't its just that I'm jaded about hearing it 100 times since August.)

More on why I hate Brett Favre.
He is incredibly selfish, when Roger Clemens does a similar thing he is a selfish prick, when Favre does it he just loves the game so much.
When Favre broke the INT record they tried to justify it by saying well he has a better TD : INT record than George Blanda.
ESPN just brought up that he is the all time leader in pass attempts (WHAT AN ACCOMPLISHMENT) without mentioning the INT record.

Half my family is from Wisconsin.. which made the first super bowl we won really tense. However, we debate all the time about how overrated Favre is. He is constantly talked about like a top 5 guy but I don't really feel he belongs in that discussion (certainly not now that you can assume Manning/Brady will end up there)

Why all the Favre hate? He's definitely a top 10 QB all-time.

I also believe that if he wanted to, he could probably play for another season after this one at this rate.

Mostly because of the fact he is constantly fellated by everyone and every media type. Add to that a family that constantly called to say how much Favre owned Elway and hate was born.

Note: I respect him, what he has done in a lot of ways is really great. I just can't stand him.

I heard that tonight's celebrity in the booth is going to be Jenna Jameson. If the announcers are goona blow Favre all the time they could use some instruction.
