$6.50 45man turbo on Stars - making a play with 98o

No strong reads. I shoved preflop once and a super short stack called. I showed AKo and won the pot. Otherwise, I haven't done much.

Is there enough dead money in the pot to make this move? I felt that I had a lot of fold equity against these players and that this move could be successful. Should I have waited until I had a shorter stack?

Stack size is fine, but I don't think they're folding, especially the last 2.

I've been trying this move from the blinds a little more lately. And it seems like everyone usually folds except for the last guy who I guess thinks something like "I can't let this guy get away with this, zomg i'm getting 3:2", and calls with K8, 65s, A3, etc. and wins.

No one else worried by the UTG limp?

I generally give more credit to an UTG/UTG+1 limp, and also to a limp from the button or CO with decent blind sizes.

Not too much credit of course, I mean they still limped, but I think the combinaation of the two shorties who are getting good odds, and the UTG limper, I think I'd wait for a better spot.

Why? I'd think that the first two are most likely to fold because of the concern of what villain will do behind them. I also thought that the second caller was weak and that I could push him out by providing crap pot odds.

My experience in these is that people fold more than they should when they don't have money in the pot, but once they've at least limped they find a way to call. CO is getting 2:1, and the last guy will be getting a good price and closing the action if CO folds, or a ridiculously good price if CO calls.
