I'm just curious, what exactly would the Pats be suing for in this case?

Of course the class action suit will never even come close to seeing a courtroom, but what the hell. The guy has every right to file a suit, and the lawyer is going to get some decent NY area publicity. We'll all forget about this within mere days.

Don't be so sure. A DC judge sued his dry cleaners for $67 million. The lawsuit came about due to the store's "satisfaction guaranteed" not being met when they performed a $10 dry cleaning service.

He lost the suit and his job. Those he sued recovered their legal fees. It sucks for them, but the Judge is now known throughout the US as a scumbag. That's a pretty big incentive not to sue.
