Limit is more fun? wtf kinds of crack are you guys smoking? Live limit poker when you're running cold and not picking up hands/winning any pots is the most draining, life-sucking activity ever known to mankind.

are you serious? playing live NL with a max buyin of 50BBs where a standard PF raise is ~10 BBs bores me to tears. for example, opening to $6 or $7 in a 100 max game with 1-2 blinds will get you laughed out of the casino.

QFT.

Not only that, but out here (SoCal) they rake practically all the blinds even before a flop is dealt, so "stealing" in late position with mediocre hands is beyond retarded.

Hence, turn on the ipod, read a book, and wait for the premiums........

Lots of downie casinos have crappy NL structures, but playing NL in Vegas with 100bb+ buyins >>>>>> playing limit anywhere.

EDIT: And I still enjoy driving 70 miles to play 2/5 NL with a $200 buyin at an 18+ casino (i.e. no booze) more than driving 20 miles to play 6/12 limit at a place that sells alcohol.

NL cash with 50BBs and a full ring table is enough to make anyone kill themselves. Deep stack short-handed NL with good thinking players is a very very interesting game.

You don't like being rewarded for bold and aggressive moves?

Nothing beats putting them to a decision for all their chips.

I just find myself finding too many reasons to make moves when I play full table no limit live. And it's not like limit where it just costs you a couple bets.

I have tried to play NL as well but I get bored like 15 minutes in. It really kinda sucks since so many of the decent/good limit players are struggling to make 5-10k/ month and so many of the average NL players are making double that and the good players 10X that. Even though I really don't look forward to having you circling through my games, welcome back.
