Default Cryptologic Cap is Nigh

We just received the following from one of our Crypto Account Managers suggesting that the cap at Crypto is imminent.
We have spoken to other Skins and understand that similar emails will be forthcoming in the next 24 hours or so

[ QUOTE ]
We would like to inform you about the latest developments in Cryptologic Network.

All existing rake back arrangements including agreements with players and affiliates shall remain as they are. There is only one restriction, that is, from the 1st of February, affiliates will not be able to advertise rake back for players in excess of 30%. In other words, theoretically you can pay your players any rake back, but on your web site you can only advertise 30%. This restriction applies to your official advertising.

[/ QUOTE ]

We realise that there have been problems/talks/rumours regarding caps at Cryptologic for some time but we're not really sure what this email does to help fix the issues

In our opinion what this means really is, although going forward you may not be able to see an affiliate offering more than 30% at Crypto sites (like InterPoker, Plex, Littlewoods, ukbetting, Parbet, William Hill, Sun), you should just assume they are offering more and email them

So really there is no need to panic and sign up as nothing has really changed.
You will still be able to get more than 30% at Crypto skins if your affiliate offers it!

Regards

Hi,

Yes, all existing arrangements will remain in place. This news only affects the maximum rate that affiliates can advertise.

Best Regards,

Justin

For the next few hours anyway, you can find flat rates of 33% (PokerPlex) and tiered rates of 32%-35% (Sun Poker and InterPoker). There might be some others also.
