As soon as his range widens to the point that shoving is profitable, you should shove. In this case it's not. Calling is bad for the reasons I gave in the other post.

Agreed that calling is not good here... you can't let another A get a boat.

No. This is a bad spot that is misplayed by most PLO players.

Hmmmm... What if the guy who raised is a super LAG-tard. Then does this become an automatic call or raise?

[/ QUOTE ]

guy who raised i said was quite tight and hadnt seen him raise much, so this i thought was easy fold, but even against a lag tard i would find it hard to call here, as he will have an ace and maybe the 9 but cards like 10j7 which means we will be scared at almost any card that comes off, unless it is one of 3 kings really

am i the only one that likes call and see the turn?

So if we hit a boat on the turn and it's not with the king are we prepared to play this to the felt? I agree with Rempel that many PLO players overplay OPs hand way too often here. Looks like an easy fold to me. Nothing worse than "hitting" and still losing 150bb.

I meant that it is a raise or fold situation.

If you think you are ahead, raise to get max out of a AXXX with a non-9 or even get another AKXX to fold. Calling would allow another ace to pair the board.

If you think you are behind folding is best obviously.
