Default California\'s Poker Player\'s Conference: worth my time?

As part of my table share of a BBJ at HP I received two tickets, each valued at $200, to this event at Hollywood Park tomorrow and Sunday. Speaking are:

Mike Caro
Jeffery Pollack
Vince Burgio
Barbara Enright
George Epstein
Russel Fox
John Pappas

and like 10 other people I don't know. There are a ton of lectures, speakers, events, etc. Is it worth my time to go to this thing? I don't think I'm going to learn anything from Mike Caro that is worth that much, but hey, he's a well known speaker and I'm a Small stakes grinder, so whatever. I don't want to waste my saturday but if there is someone there that people think are notable or worthy of my time I'm down.

On a related note, I might have to tickets for sale for this event. FT transfers accepted.

You can bring some produce to throw at Jeffery Pollack.

Barbara Enright was playing $1/$2 NL after busting out of the tournament the first night.

The 1st tournament of the National Championship series at Hollywood Park was horrible. I felt very uncomfortable at the table the entire time.

I don't expect much from this Poker Players Conference. However, any Mike Caro seminar is worth attending. It's amazing how Mike can get you focused on your game and play like a winner. So that being said I reccomend attnending Mike Caro's portion of the confrence.

Let me translate:

Very few things written by Caro have have really impressed me, so I don't expect to learn much. On the other hand, I still have a lot to learn as a poker player, and maybe he will say something of worth.

Other than Russ Fox (who is a 2+2'er and gives great tax advice) sadly I wouldn't pay a single dime to hear any of those speakers. I think this is a case of the old world "voodoo" players who are dying out vs the new world equity aware players who are taking over the poker world in my eyes, the old world doesn't interest me in the slightest.

On a related note the LIPS tournament was canceled.
