trying to deposit money

I want to deposit money to poker stars, but my credit card declines the transaction. Could anyone suggest a way to do this (a good way to deposit money without fees etc.) or is this a common problem?

You can get a "netspend" visa at any Check Cashing Store, cost is $4.95 for up to $500. Walgreens sells "gifttogo" cards for $100 with a $5.95 charge. Both these are good to play instantly. Other options will be cheaper but likely take a while to set up(and I never used them so don't know the details)

lots of credit cards are declined (the companies don't want you gambling with borrowed money)

however, many DEBIT cards are accepted (banks don't care if you gamble with your own money)

Use Moneygram only $9.95 an you can load up to $2k I think.

I used a Regions bank Debit card on Full Tilt with no problem.

There are many pre-paid cards that work today i.e. Gift2Go, AllAccess, www-card however any of these could stop working if the banks implement blocks on gaming. ePassporte, WU and MoneyGram are also options. Many people find debit cards from very small regional banks work as many of those have also not yet implemented blocks, though they could in the future.
