Default Re: Golfers -- anyone use any of the medicus products?

For whats its worth I have one of those. It helps a little bit. I generally only use it for a few things though. I tend to lift the club up on take away and occasionaly start my weight shift too late, it helps a little when I focus on using the club to help that.

I wouldnt say that using this will definitally help, like others said good lessons are much more important. But if you have something that you know is wrong, the medicus is fairly helpful.

I was very serious when I suggested practicing putting and chipping too.

Yeah, I definitely am going to work on that a ton. Both are absolutely horrid right now.

If you want to score better, working on your short game is most important. You can hit a meh drive and recover. If you are around the green and [censored] up a chip you lost a whole shot.

But obviously, you haven't been golfing much so you need to work on your full swing as well.

PS: Staying out of the water helps.

This: http://www.superswingtrainer.com/index.htm

is 1000X better than medicus. Seriously, if you are having trouble staying on plane it will change your golf swing completely.

Interestingly, the more unnatural and awkward it feels when you first use it the more you need it.

I have no affiliation to these guys but I bought one a couple years ago. I used it for 30-60 minutes a day for a month or so and my scores went from mid-to-high-90s down to mid-80s.

I use it for like 10 minutes before I leave the house to play now. I don't play nearly as regularly as I used to but still shoot in the 80's regularly.
