Hey Argus,

I released it about a week ago in a new thread in this forum. Sorry to those that missed it, this thread seemed dead.

hey thanks. i got that version some days now, i wrote you an email dunno if you got it or got time to answer simple questions like this, maybe anyone else can help too:

email:

Hey

first I want to thank you for the great work. I downloaded the current beta version 0.79 and havent had any other before.
In the 2+2 post there were alot of graphs and questions how to analyze them. But it were graphs were the red line indicated "expected showdown winnings" and in the beta .79 which I got the red line indicates "sklanksy bucks". Also in the .79 there is no "expected total winnings", in which I am very interested. You wrote to analyse your "luck", you have to watch the Luck Graph with Allin Wins.
I have the feeling that I am very very very unlucky over the past 200k hands (which will not import at all on my machine allthough its a core2duo + 2gb ram). I can import about 95k hands but I cant save them or import the other hands after that?! So my question is when over 95k hands the red sklansky bucks line ends 8k$ higher than the green total winnings line on NL100 ! am I supposed to be very unlucky? The line ends a bit (1k$) higher than the red line though...

Hope to not bother you too much with that questions and email, think youre busy enough (will donate when final programm is out and when it really helps my game, which it will probably)

AS

Hey Argus,

I sent you an email yesterday.

Which graph are you looking at? It sounds like you're looking at the "Game Analysis" tab may not give you an accurate indication of how well you run. It's more for analysis of non showdown vs showdown for example. To see how your run, use the "luck graphs" tab which is restricted to all ins.

If you're getting an 8K difference there, would you be kind enough to post a screenshot?

As for the import problems with 95K+ hands, that will be fixed with the next version, which will have a database backend to store and retrieve calculated EV results. It'll be a few weeks.

Sorry I took a while to get back to you, once I get the next release out I'll have proper support again.

Thanks for the program Advis0r, which I use a lot.

Can you help me with one issue. Normally the program works perfectly, but sometimes (always the same dates that makes the program stop) the following error comes when the program stops in the middle of the run.

(Written from the program).

java.lang.IlligalArgumentException: 'n'
at poker.f.a(Unknown Source)
at poker.c.a(Unknown Source)
at poker.EquityTest.a(Unknown Source)
at poker.EquityTest.a(Unknown Source)
at AllinCalc,main(Unknown Source)

Anything I can do here?

Is there anyway to download numbers in PokerEV to Excel? I.e. the Sklanksy bucks vs net hand outcomes of just the allin pots?
