SB is unknown, except that in the last hand, he made a small donk like this then called down TPNK, comments on all streets appreciated.

I might just call the flop, letting him think a low pocket pair is still good. When the ace hits the turn, I'd probably check behind like you did. As played I'd fold the river, but if I didn't raise the flop, I'd probably call a reasonable bet.

i like the reraise on the flop, turn i check as well and think we're dead in the water with that ace-- what hand range could we possibly put him on that doesn't beat us on this board calling a reraise like that? i don't like to bet the turn because your either betting into the nuts or nothing, you don't have much FE and if he doesn't have an ace he probably woudln't make a play on the river
