I gotta admit I'm really confused by your posts in this thread capone.

This sounds really weak-tight, but in general at these limits (especially 25nl, 50 gets more aggro) whenever people overbet they always seem to have it.

What hands do you think you need to call with here? I think TT-QQ are not really in his range so is 99 equivalent to AA here?

Can't do this for a whole BI, unfortuantely -- the odds just aren't good enough. I really think he's FOS, but eh.

He obviously goes to the flop with a lot of garbage, so I think it's not a difficult fold, but I'm really curious what kind of hands you might see here. Basically I'm wondering how often people check-raise all-in here on a bluff to counter c-bets.

Edit: I think mid pairs that whiff also do this. So it could be a call.

My gut feeling tells me this is rarely a six, and more than likely a pocket pair 22-AA. Against any pocket pair I'm about 46%, add in something like AK and it shifts to 52%. Meh, whatever this is probably one of those spots that's really close either way and adds a lot of variance without much EV.

Wouldn't things like 57, low pocket pairs and decent overs be a big enough part of his range for this to be a call? Preflop action makes a bigger pocket pair unlikely so all we are scared of here is a 6 right?

Yeah it's either generally really close or you are way behind, and it's generally just not worth it

I think you'll see hands like A6, K6, maybe even Q6 enough with those kinds of stats. They might even do this with just pairing the 4. The more that I think about it I think it's a thinly positive call, but like everyone's saying... it's borderline either way.
