2/4 NL - 3 Aces see ugly river and leadout
2/4 NL 5-handed
Villain's SN is Lagboat, though he doesn't seem like one. I saw him pull a triple-barrel bluff against a regular with a missed FD and got called down by bottom pair earlier. No real history vs. him. Stacks - Villain - $600 Hero - $488 Hero raises to $16 with A[img]/images/graemlins/diamond.gif[/img] A[img]/images/graemlins/heart.gif[/img], 3 folds, Villain calls. Flop 9[img]/images/graemlins/diamond.gif[/img] 6[img]/images/graemlins/club.gif[/img] 5[img]/images/graemlins/heart.gif[/img] Villain checks, Hero bets $27, Villain calls. Turn A[img]/images/graemlins/spade.gif[/img] Villain checks, Hero bets $70, Villain calls. River 7[img]/images/graemlins/club.gif[/img] Villain bets $300, Hero? Anyone fold vs. unknown? Raising is quite bad I'd assume. Default call? |

Re: 2/4 NL - 3 Aces see ugly river and leadout
what hand that we beat is he supposed to turn into a bluff ? a set should bet less, 2 pair as well, An A should be checking I guess. I think he shows up with A8, 98, 68, 88 here a ton.

81-19 equity against random hands
90-10 against 22+ 75-25 against 22+, 98 easy call |

Re: 2/4 NL - 3 Aces see ugly river and leadout
i just think its a call because for all the hands mentioned that make a straight are also an equal number of hands that make 2pr or a set that villain will believe is good. when you add in random bluffs in even in small frequencies i think calling is fine since villain would be foolish to chk those hands since hero is very likely to chk behind almost his entire range. the overbet obv changes things a bit and helps make a case for a fold but i still think a call may be slightly +ev but obv high variance.
