stay on the strip, don't stay downtown. you can get poker room rates at bellagio, mirage, and wynn for sure, and prob venitian now too.

staying downtown will cost you as much extra in cab fare as just staying on the strip.

I'm a big wuss when it comes to variance, so at 5/10 I've been fairly selective and basically avoiding anyone who I think might be good (usually the multitabling regulars, although there are exceptions). I'm starting to realize that the best way to attract fish is to just sit down at an empty table and wait for someone to join, which is pretty much the exact opposite of what I've been doing. At 3/6 I've been playing anyone I've seen sitting alone, so it's mostly semi-regulars who have a clue but who I think I should have a clear edge against. My MT ratio is a pathetic 1.25 because my head can't handle multitabling HU vs. different people very well, and I always play very short sessions to avoid losing focus.

No, that's 2007 for HU play, which is also sadly 80% of my hands for the year [img]/images/graemlins/frown.gif[/img]. My work ethic is horrible.

no, not golden nugget, its downtown. stay at bellagio or wynn and ask about their poker room rates. you get weekend rooms for around $150 and weekday for around $100.

if you stay downtown you will spend $40-$50 per day taking cabs back and forth to the strip to play poker.

Melchiades, I dont use filters but I have new PT DB for every month and I usually use hands from current and last 2 months. On side note I use HUD less and less sometimes switching it off entirely. I also dont import hands to PT while playing anymore.
