delay with UNYTE

Hi,

A friend of mine has been sweating me thru a couple of sessions over ventrilo. I installed UNYTE, but it`s laggy. There is a delay of 2 seconds approx.

Anybody knows how to improve performance with UNYTE ? Is my internet connection to slow ? I`m running 1024 downstream and 256 upstream. My screen resolution is 1600x1200, would it improve to lower the resolution ?
