Default I fold a flush

Villain was 30/1/3 over about 60 hands but I didn't have any real reads.

Party Poker - No Limit Hold'em Cash Game - $1/$2 Blinds - 6 Players - (LegoPoker Hand History Converter)

SB: $113.75
Hero (BB): $196.00
UTG: $181.96
MP: $152.00
CO: $235.98
BTN: $209.40

Preflop: Hero is dealt 5[img]/images/graemlins/spade.gif[/img] 6[img]/images/graemlins/spade.gif[/img] (6 Players)
UTG calls $2.00, 3 folds, SB calls $1.00, Hero checks

Flop: ($6) 7[img]/images/graemlins/club.gif[/img] J[img]/images/graemlins/diamond.gif[/img] Q[img]/images/graemlins/spade.gif[/img] (3 Players)
SB checks, Hero checks, UTG checks

Turn: ($6) 4[img]/images/graemlins/spade.gif[/img] (3 Players)
<font color="red">SB bets $4.00</font>, <font color="red">Hero raises to $14.00</font>, UTG folds, SB calls $10.00

River: ($34) J[img]/images/graemlins/spade.gif[/img] (2 Players)
SB checks, <font color="red">Hero bets $20.00</font>, <font color="red">SB raises to $54.00</font>, Hero folds

Pot Size: $108.00
Thoughts?
I was actually realy considering checking the river but the little man in my head kept saying that I had a flush and should bet so I did.

Checking the river would be bad. I think you played it well.

Yeah this is fine.

You can't semi-bluff the turn and then check when you make your hand!

I was thinking this but the fact that the river pairs the board changes things. I would've had no trouble betting a non-pairing flush card or a str8 card.
