I disagree. This seems a lot more like a flush than a T or even two pair. Most (poor) players will draw to their flushes whether or not they're getting the proper (implied) odds.

In either case, I bleieve his small bet on the flop, and subsequent call of the rather larger raise mean he was not on a flush draw. Therefore, I'd call the river.

That turn is a disaster card. I'm seeing a showdown as cheaply as possible thereafter if at all. Unraised pot = give it up , good fold IMO.

This is almost definitely a flush. A must fold.

I may just stack off on the turn. This spot isn't very fun.

I think stacking off on the turn is pretty bad.

1) This is a limped pot, and villain can have any two spades in the BB.
2) Villain called a C/R on the flop, so his range is generally strong hands or strong draws.
3) Villain min-raises when the flush hits the turn.
4) Hero could easily have a flush himself, but villain doesn't seem to care.

How often are you ahead when you stack off on the turn under these circumstances?

[/ QUOTE ]

It depends on what I've seen him do during the session and if he's capable of having like AT or a straight.

you mean just AT... if he has a straight, we're still screwed (or you think he's capable of raise folding a str8 on the turn?)

His call of the $12 would have been very loose if he was only on a flush draw. The poster said he was a fairly tight player (I think). Therefore, I don't put him on a flush.

Wait what ? Calling with a flush draw getting 3-1 in position, with a lot of money behind is very loose ?
