Default QQ, the first time i wear the nit hat at a limit table

so, I've been playing about 35/28 or so over the last 120 hands at the table and have a generally solid / aggressive image, making thin value bets like I do and all, then this happens... (6 handed table).

UTG+1 is 24/17/2 over 121 hands w/ a wtsd% of 34 (little nitty).

Ultimate Bet 5/10 Hold'em (6 handed) Hand History Converter Tool from FlopTurnRiver.com (Format: 2+2 Forums)

Preflop: SHOOTAA is UTG with Q[img]/images/graemlins/club.gif[/img], Q[img]/images/graemlins/diamond.gif[/img].
SHOOTAA raises, MP 3-bets, 2 folds, SB :#A500AF(A NIT)/ calls, 1 fold, SHOOTAA caps, MP calls, SB :#A500AF(A NIT)/ calls.

Flop: (13 SB) 7[img]/images/graemlins/diamond.gif[/img], 8[img]/images/graemlins/spade.gif[/img], T[img]/images/graemlins/heart.gif[/img] (3 players)
A NIT checks, SHOOTAA bets, MP raises, A NIT folds, SHOOTAA calls.

Turn: (8.50 BB) A[img]/images/graemlins/heart.gif[/img] (2 players)
SHOOTAA ?

I'm thinking if I had JJ i would CC, because I think I have 6 clean outs most of the time (still too thin probably), or KK I would've 3 bet the flop obv (which I should've done anyways, and do vs most, this guy is such a nit that i had planned to show it down until his range got kicked in the face by the turn card. Soooooo, check-fold?

A check/raise would be supersensual.

you think ? I think if you're trying to get him off KK, a donk may be cheaper.

I do think, but I am bad at this sort of question without actually being there ot observe the player.

My thoughts: The pre-flop and flop action from this player scream "overpair" rather than A10, AK - so the Ace probably did not help him.

If he is the type of player to bet KK or QQ after the Ace hits, given his nittism, a c/r would woprk perfectly. If he checks behind, oh well you are done with the hand. If he 3 bets, oh well, you lost just as much as you would if you had called down.

I think a flop 3-bet makes the hand much easier to play.

A straightforward UTG+1 can easily have JJ, 99 here. If he does get out of line, he can easily have 98, T9, JT, A9, 66 as well. If villain fires both turn & river, you are paying 2 BB to win 10.5BB. I think you're good at least 20% of the time here...so, get to showdown cheaply since you're not pushing him off the hand with a turn donk.

I agree with rafiki.

If you are hoping to get a nit fold from KK, betting is just as likely to work and 1/2 the price.
