it prolly doesnt matter too much in the longrun if you call or fold this. if this guy is the type to overbet semibluff push draws and doesnt ever do that with nuts hands (99% of bad players) then it's an easy call. otherwise i'd just call based on my mood.

Seems like a call. Getting > 2:1 and good chance we are drawing to more than just the flush against this dude.

I still wouldn't call off all my money with just a flush draw with SB still left to act. It's very possible he has a lower club draw, but I still wouldn't call here.

Yes I agree 100%, there are better spots made to get this dude's money. ALSO HAVE other Villain to worry about so we may be drawing only to 7 of the clubs yes ? FOLD IMO

[/ QUOTE ]

so he calls a pf raise, then checks flop OOP in a multiway pot, he's drawing to a FD???? or are you refering to villan(which still makes no sense)

I think its like QJ or a lower FD often here, racing vs one with dead money in the pot, favorite over the other(it doesn't matter if we only have 7 outs- if he has a lower draw we are ahead)

what is SB's range? does he look interested in the flop/hand?

[/ QUOTE ]

My live reads are admittedly lacking, but I can tell you that he was not getting ready to insta-fold his cards.

Also, this was the first time all session the villian had made any sort of overbet shove like this.

instacall, SB isn't really that much of a factor, and drinking/tilting guys can show up here with any 2.

Hi HoosierAlum,

His range is a J, 7-good kicker, any pocket pair 88-QQ, and a flush draw. The trips and the flush draws are the most likely psychologically (meaning of all the types of pushes by amateurs that you see, their ranges always contain these hands, though they may or may not contain the good 7s etc.). Given that range, it looks like a very easy call to me, getting 1.5:1. You will never see a full house+ or a stone bluff here, in case you're wondering.
