Default More FPS frpm SirWatts?

$5K PL Holdem, blinds 50/100. Folds to Eli Elezra on the button who makes it 350. I call in the BB with 77, about 8K more effective behind. Flop Q97 2 hearts. I check (I should probably just lead but either way can't be bad) and he checks behind. Turn 9, I bet 600 and he calls. River is a low heart. I check.... Thoughts?

this deep i think a flop check is fine, it seems like he will bet and call a c/r with a fairly wide range (unless his tourney play is different from what i have seen on tv). I think you should bet the river and let him raise you with a flush, or call with his 66 that he was playing showdown with.

I think he can call w/ a lot of hands, but will check a lot of them behind. Isn't elezra the type to call w/ like A high on turn? I don't think a river check is going to induce a bluff all that often, and if you really think it does, then perhaps a small lead for 1k would be more appropriate, trying to induce a bluffraise, while still possibly getting value from a pair like 88.

I would generally check the river. You lose a lot less if you are beat, and sometimes he bluffs or even value bets a weaker hand. It is certainly easier to play if you check. Villain probably doesn't check the flop with a flush draw, so betting and calling a raise might be good.

In pot limit, I like leading into the raiser OOP on the flop. If he bets, then checkraising or check/calling both have problems, and you don't like it when he checks behind.

This seems OK. I donk more than most from the blinds, so I donk here, check the turn and bet the river. But if it's gone check/bet then I can see a check on the river, although I'd still probably bet because I'd expect his calling range to be way wider than his betting/bluffing range. I've no idea how wide he calls a check-raise and this is key so I'd play it safe and bet.

PF is obv fine.

On the flop c/r is good. Unless you've been donking a lot of flops I don't see why you'd do it know.

The turn is for sure a bet.

As played I like the river c/r I think most hands he's calling a bet with he will bet himself so try to bloat the pot and let him make a call with Qx or w/e.

If what mike said it true then I hate the river check. Otherwise I think you played it perfectly.

Betgo, we're losing a lot more if we're beat because Mr Watts here is planning on raising after Mr. Elezra bets.

Like others said, leading the flop depends on your images. Do we expect live pros to consider weak leads weak? If so, that'd be awesome to know.

Checking this river is pretty bad, because most of his range is marginal bluff catching hands (which he will check with), and not flushes. Additionally, when he does have a flush he prob will raise you anyways, and if he has a queen he prob folds to a push if you c/r.

I feel like you are just looking for a spot to be tricky and look sick w/ a c/r here, but this really is a bad spot vs most for this.
