Me - I probably use Stop-n-Go once for every 5-6 tourneys I play or so (not counting the ones where I'm out in first 30 minutes either).

[/ QUOTE ] wow, that sounds like way too many times. I use the stop and go maybe once or twice a month.

[/ QUOTE ]

My stated frequency may be too high, actually, now that I think about it.

really small pairs and really small aces for fe vs hands that dominate your ass

[/ QUOTE ]

right, but I've seen so many people pulling SNG's w/ QQ (there's one today), I mean it's the 3rd best starting hand in the game and we want to maximize FE postflop?!?! That's retarded. I've also seen it w/ AK... Does anyone have a link to the original Fossilman post on when to use the stop n go?

[/ QUOTE ]

Doooooooh, my feelings. Actually i think i deserved that one.

Sorry, it was the most recent one (obviously), but you are definitely not the first person to do a SNG w/ QQ on this board. No offense intended, just an example of misuse. Read the links above. I assume you did since you said you deserve it.

What about a go and go and go? Take a bunch of speed before the hand then use a hammer to smash the left mouse button repeatedly over the 'bet/raise' button.

I think of the stop and go as more of a a SNG tool, where 4-6 handed you would like to sacrifice a bit of chip value in order to survive.
