fold preflop fold flop. when nothing better folds and most worse hands do fold, its prob not a spectacular bet. It's very possible that your opponent's calling range is exactly AJo+, which is obv terrible for you. Like everyone is saying, this is 100% not a bluff. It's also a bad value bet imo. To me, I would describe it not as a value bet or bluff, but as a giving away your stack bet.

i also think you are right that you shouldn't be making margin plays like this (though i actually think this is more bad than marginal) because you can find better spots. I hate saying it like that too, a better way to put it maybe is to wait for spots in which you are confident you are making a good/the best play.

I don't have a lot of live experience either, but this hand, and the TT hand you described both seem terrible against most people in these tournaments.
