Default NL25 FlopTopSet vs unknown

The only question I've got with this play is how much to bet on the flop... 50%, 75% or pot? That flop isn't scary at all. Considering I've no infos on my opponents. Thanks for the feedback.

First post. Yay.

I think I would be moderately scared by that flop. With no reads on a player you'd have to suspect they might call your pre-flop raise with J10s?

With the sudden aggression on the turn you might also add pocket 8's or 98 to the list of possible starting hands.

In answer to your question I think I would bet 2/3 of the pot, but I'm a n00b, so...

I'd be convinced he has 2pair and make a psb on the river.

lOl@ being scared of the flop. This is almost a perfect flop. If the has 89, youre stacking him. The only hand that beats you on turn is JT, but 95% of the time you have villain beat. Dont pot the flop, i bet around 2.50.

I bet a little more on the flop..2.5-3 sounds good..Make a larger bet on the turn..In general it looks like you tend to bet your strong hands too weakly..Prolly in fear of losing value from marginal hands or draws..But you are costing yourself much valus against a 2nd best hand and not punishing draws for chasing..The goal of a set is to get ALL the money into the pot and this will not happen by beating weak..This is just an assumption I made based on your play of this ONE hand and your commentary(My only Question)..I viewed the weak turn bet being a bigger mistake then the weak flop bet..
