Default Stealing from SB Question

There are some very good posts about blind stealing in the forum stickies that address stealing from the button or CO. I don't see any advice on stealing from the SB which will leave you OOP if called.

I really like stealing from the SB and do it quite often. At $50NL I am in the green <font color="green"> 0.06BB/Hand </font> from the SB.

Overall, however, at $25NL and $50NL both 6-max and FR over 60,000 hands I am a net loser from the SB at <font color="red"> 0.09BB/Hand </font>

My question is two-fold. First, what are accepted standards for stealing from the SB? Obv. opponent dependent as it would be suicide to attempt a steal from someone who'll either defend regularly or who'll no doubt call.

Second, is losing <font color="red"> 0.09BB/Hand </font> from the SB too much? If stealing is a leak, I need to fix it before getting too many more hands in at $50NL and look at other problems I may have in the SB other than steal attempts.

Below are 2 hands I've stolen with. I deliberaltely chose crappy hands to illustrate what I am capable of. Please note, though, that I'm not a maniac from the SB even though these hands may make it look that way.

*********HAND #1***********

Had no read on BB. Not enough hands for stats to show, but seems a tad loose and not very aggressive PF. Again, read might be meaningless after only 20 or so hands.

PokerStars No-Limit Hold'em, $0.50 BB (6 handed) internettexasholdem.com

BB ($21.20)
UTG ($31.55)
MP ($59.30)
CO ($92.40)
Button ($3.75)
Hero ($52.75)

Preflop: Hero is SB with 2[img]/images/graemlins/spade.gif[/img], 8[img]/images/graemlins/diamond.gif[/img].
<font color="#666666">4 folds</font>, <font color="#CC3333">Hero raises to $2.25</font>, <font color="#666666">1 fold</font>.

Final Pot: $2.75

*********HAND #2***********

Same read as above. Under 25 hands.

PokerStars No-Limit Hold'em, $0.50 BB (6 handed) internettexasholdem.com

CO ($61.75)
Button ($135.65)
Hero ($49.60)
BB ($46.25)
UTG ($45.25)
MP ($48.05)

Preflop: Hero is SB with 4[img]/images/graemlins/club.gif[/img], T[img]/images/graemlins/heart.gif[/img].
<font color="#666666">4 folds</font>, <font color="#CC3333">Hero raises to $1.75</font>, <font color="#666666">1 fold</font>.

Final Pot: $2.25

82o and T4o are both too loose. I made a post about blind play a while back where I talked a bit about this situation. Use the search.
