Default turning my hand into a bluff

I do stuff like this sometimes. is it bad?

villain is pretty decent. will 2nd barrel a reasonable % of the time but I don't think he's firing river with nothing that often if I call the turn.

My image is OK I think.

If he calls do you shove a [img]/images/graemlins/spade.gif[/img] river? or a blank? or just give up?

Seat 1: villain ($1,142.15 in chips)
Seat 3: hero ($1,040.70 in chips) DEALER
Seat 8: xx ($792.75 in chips)
Seat 10: xx ($908.05 in chips)
xx: Post SB $3.00
xx: Post BB $6.00

Dealt to hero J [img]/images/graemlins/diamond.gif[/img] T [img]/images/graemlins/diamond.gif[/img]

villain: Raise $24.00
hero: Call $24.00
xx: Fold
xx: Fold

*** FLOP *** 5 [img]/images/graemlins/spade.gif[/img] 5 [img]/images/graemlins/diamond.gif[/img] 10 [img]/images/graemlins/spade.gif[/img]

villain: Bet $45.00
hero: Call $45.00

*** TURN *** 7 [img]/images/graemlins/heart.gif[/img]

villain: Bet $100.00
hero: Raise $300.00

Dunno if I like that turn raise, as it has inflated the pot and maybe committed him. Though obv thats exactly how u might play 77.

Think doing this is fine sometimes.

dont you get more value out of just calling b/c hes not gonna call your raise with anything that doesnt beat you but he still might fire a third barrel with air
